Nails Are My Canvas Episode 9: Hand-Painted Autumn Stroll Nail Art

Welcome back to Nails Are My Canvas! 🎨

For Episode 9, I’m continuing my fall collection with a design I’m calling Autumn Stroll.

I’ve really been enjoying creating these little fall scenes because every nail gives me a chance to paint something completely different. This time, I wanted something peaceful and colorful—almost like you’re taking a walk outside on a beautiful fall day.

I started with my background and slowly built the scene from there. By the time I finished, one little nail had become a full autumn landscape with a colorful tree, fence, greenery, flowers, pumpkins, and mountains in the distance.

A Fall Scene on One Tiny Nail

One of my favorite parts of this design is the tree.

I wanted it to be the main focus, so I filled it with different shades of red, orange and yellow to give it that full fall look. From there, I added the trunk and branches and started building everything else around it.

The fence helped bring the scene together, and then I added the grass, little flowers and pumpkins toward the bottom of the nail.

It’s always the little details that make these designs come alive.

Another Stop in My Fall Collection

What I’ve loved about this collection is that every design tells its own little story.

Autumn Drive gave us the vintage truck and pumpkins. Fall Barn took us out to the countryside. Harvest Ride brought in the tractor and pumpkin patch. And now Autumn Stroll feels like we’ve gotten out of the car and are just enjoying the scenery. 🍂

They’re all different, but when you put them together, they feel like they belong in the same little fall world.

And I’m not finished with fall yet!

This is exactly why I started calling this series Nails Are My Canvas.

When I look at a blank nail, I don’t just see somewhere to put polish. I see a tiny canvas and think about what I can create on it.

Sometimes it’s something detailed, sometimes it’s something simple, and sometimes I don’t know exactly how it’s going to turn out until I start painting.

That’s part of the fun for me.
