The Best Order for Your Beauty Appointments
1. Schedule Your Hair First
Book your hair appointment first because that time will help determine when you should schedule your makeup.
If you need your hair cut, colored, installed, or chemically treated, try to have those services completed earlier in the week. On the day of the ball, you should only need your hair styled.
Whenever possible, have your hair completely finished before arriving for your makeup appointment. This prevents water, heat, sprays, and styling from disturbing your finished makeup.
2. Schedule Your Nails and Pedicure
Your nails and pedicure can be completed one to three days before the ball. This keeps them fresh without taking up valuable time on the day of your event.

Bring or send a picture of your dress if you would like help choosing nail colors or a design that complements your complete look.
3. Prepare for Your Makeup Appointment
Please arrive with a clean face, no makeup, and your hair already completed.
Your eyebrows should already be arched, shaped, or waxed. If they are not, you may add Brow Arching or Brow Razor for an additional cost when booking your makeup appointment.
Please also have facial hair removed before your appointment for a cleaner, smoother makeup application. If you plan to wax, have it done at least 24 to 48 hours beforehand so any redness or irritation has time to settle.
Decide whether you want a natural look, soft glam, glitter, a smoky eye, a bold lip, or something that coordinates with your dress. Bring makeup inspiration and have a picture of your dress available.
If you don’t know what look you want, that is okay. We can decide together.
Military Ball Makeup Special — $85
Choose Soft Glam or Glitter Glam, including strip lashes, for $85. Appointments are scheduled for one hour. Rhinestones and highly detailed specialty looks are not included.

Choose Your Makeup Time Carefully
Your makeup appointment should be scheduled for the day of the ball. When choosing your time, allow time for:
- Getting dressed
- Traveling to the venue
- Parking and checking in
- Taking pictures before leaving
Do not choose your makeup time based only on the event’s official start time. If you are unsure, contact us with your ball date and the time you need to be completely ready.
Conveniently Located Near Camp Lejeune
Divine Designz Beauty Bar is located at 2509 Piney Green Road, Suite 3, right down the road from Camp Lejeune’s Piney Green Gate.
Our salon is outside the installation, so you do not need base access to visit us. This makes us convenient for Jacksonville residents and guests traveling from another city or state.
Please allow extra travel time for traffic near the Camp Lejeune gates, especially during busy morning and afternoon hours.
Reserve Your Appointments Early
Military ball makeup appointments are limited, and popular November dates can fill quickly. A 50% nonrefundable booking fee is required to reserve your appointment.
Early-morning and select off-day makeup appointments may be available by request at a premium rate.
